We get so busy in life taking care of other people. We take care of our employees, and we take care of our co-workers, and we work all day to take care of the needs of our clients. We take care of the people that we work for, our business partners, and then we come home and we take care of our family.
We take care of our children. We make sure they get off to school on time and they have with the need. We take care of our spouse, we spend time with them, and invest our time with them. We go and see our parents. We may have elderly parents and we go by and check on them and make sure that they’re doing okay. Then we will go attend to our brother, or sister, or some other family member. A friend might call upon us and we don’t want to let them down, so we show up for them and go take care of their needs.
We are at every funeral, we are at every wedding, we are at every piano recital, and we are at every bar mitzvah we are just at every event, taking care of other people.
But I have a question for you? How much time have you created for yourself? We can’t be effective in life if we are always giving out and giving out and giving out, but we never receive. We never set ourselves up to take time and be able to have time for ourselves. Today, I want to give you five tips that are going to help you, five powerful principles that will help you to create more time for yourself.
